Mountain Garage Addition
This customer had three main issues: erosion on his driveway and around his detached garage, a shifting foundation, and needed an additional foundation for added space to his detached garage. We started by digging out the foundation for the addition on his detached garage, poured footers, retaining wall, pad and ramp. All were tied back into the original detached garage to ensure the block foundation would not continue to shift over time, and that the foundational walls would be easy for his carpenter to build the structure on top. Next, we prepped the site in front and next to the existing building and poured a pad, sidewalk, stairs and retaining wall to keep the dirt from washing out like it had for years. Lastly, we graded and packed the dirt back against the retaining walls, graded around the pad in front of the original detached garage, and graded a road to go down the side of the addition and connect to the back of the addition for easy access with his tractor.
